The Association of Healthcare Funders of Zimbabwe is a highly knowledgeable member-based not-for-profit organisation that is governed by a constitution and a comprehensive code of ethics.
Our Stakeholders are: Ministry of Health, Private Hospitals’ Association, Zimbabwe Medical Association, Government and Mission Hospitals, and all other service providers in healthcare.
We have a number of activities that we do for and with our members to encourage the overall necessity of, “Medical Aid in Zimbabwe“. In these most difficult times of global pandemics, it is even more important than before that we work together to encourage the uptake of Medical Aid in Zimbabwe.
The Association of Healthcare Funders of Zimbabwe, AHFoZ, was formerly the National Association of Medical Aid Societies, NAMAS. The National Association of Medical Aid Societies was formed in 1969.
Being a collective of professionals in healthcare, we stand firm as a collective voice for the health funding industry, in Zimbabwe.
Our activities exist to bolster the industry through collective engagement, advocacy, networking, training and via the formatin of smart partherships.

At AHFoZ, we work hard to represent the needs and interests of our members by ensuring that they have a voice at national level and as a collective. Issues pertinent to Medical Aid as critically important now, more than ever. We ensure that we are responsive and dynamic in providing support services to our membership body. We work with integrity, respect and with the highest levels of professionalism.
Our members enjoy the benefit of being at the very forefront, and abreast of any changes, in healthcare funding. It is only with the strength of our collective voice that issues of major importance can be advocated on.
